Hello dear Mark,
How are you and Daniëlle? Has the new year got off to a good start in Zwijndrecht?
Today is 16 January, exactly one year since our last session, when things finally clicked for me. I want to thank you again so much for everything you have meant to me. My life may not have turned a full 180 degrees, but I am a different person from a year ago.
I passed my wine certificate in October and am now working on the final exams in spirits and beer in April, so that I can hopefully earn my off-licence qualification. I would love to open my own business tomorrow, but I need to be patient a little longer. Fortunately, I no longer let myself be guided by what other people might or might not think... Fuck them!
Thanks to you, I have a goal in my life again. Of course, I still need to give myself a kick up the backside sometimes, but I am a happy and grateful person.
